Are the Innovation Food Services meals compliant?

All meals provided by Innovation Foods are compliant with NSLP, SSO, SFSP and CACFP.

Are dietary needs an issue?

No, we work with our in-house nutritionist and chef to provide vegetarian, egg and dairy free, and gluten free meal options.

How does On-Call Meal Solutions help?

On-Call Meal Solutions has developed an incredibly innovative approach to feeding Northeast Ohio’s remote learners for the remainder of the Covid-19 crisis. Through our partnership with FedEx, we have developed, over several months, the only direct ship program in this area that delivers fresh meals directly to the front door of a student in need.

How much does it cost?

In almost every case, the pricing for this program comes in below federal reimbursement, but we must confirm the addresses first with FedEx to confirm pricing.

What do we need to do to sign up?

Simply connect with a member of our customer service team. They will provide you with a memorandum of understanding and template for entering your student addresses. Once each is complete, most programs can start within 1 week.

What is the feedback from parents who are using the program so far?

What day are the meals delivered?

Once we have entered your student addresses into the FedEx system, a consistent weekly delivery day will be scheduled.

Do you provide allergy meals?

Yes, although additional charges may apply. We suggest confirming that these requests are true medical allergies or religious restrictions and not simply parent preferences before placing your order.

Is there a minium student count to qualify for On-Call Meal Solutions?

Absolutely not. We can service schools with as few as 1 student.

Can I receive meals 5 days instead of 7 days?

Do parents need to be home to receive the box?

The package will be left at your door, no signature is required. Meals are delivered in insulated packaging, with cold packs, and include a thermometer to ensure proper temperatures once the box is opened.

Does this program end with the school year or can it continue into the summer?

This program is an ideal way to ensure your students are receiving adequate nutrition throughout the summer months. This includes students who had been attending school in person. It is a simple process to add them in once the regular school year ends.
